Exploring the jade coloured waters at the Lonesome Lake outside the township of Waterton. Truly a hidden gem with its shiny, rippled surface that one could easily mistaken for being made of crystals; each ripple boosting the lake’s diamond-like appearance by reflecting the premature rays of the looming spring sun.
Discovering an enthralling urge to dive into the gorgeous body of water, breaking the surreally crystalline surface by going head first. Sitting on an abandoned dock with our feet submerged in the icy water, however, we immediately come to realise that summer has yet to arrive. And so we kick back, gaze up and listen to the waves softly hitting the wooden dock.
